Rules of the Camping Les Plages de l’Ain
1) ADMISSION CONDITIONS
To be allowed to enter, settle and stay in the natural camping area, you must have been authorized by the manager. The latter is responsible for ensuring that the campsite is properly maintained and ordered, as well as for ensuring compliance with the application of these internal regulations.
Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and an undertaking to comply with them.
2) POLICE FORMALITIES
Anyone who must stay at least one night on the campground must first present their identity documents to the manager and complete the formalities required by the police.
Minors who are not accompanied by their parents will only be admitted with their parents’ written consent.
Double-axle caravans are not allowed on site.
The tent or caravan and related equipment must be installed in the designated location in accordance with instructions given by the manager.
4) RECEPTION DESK AND CLOSING OF THE GATE
14/01 to 28/02 from Monday to Friday 2pm-6pm
01/03 to 31/05 every day from 10am-12pm and 3pm-7pm
01/06 to 31/08 every day from 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-7pm
01/09 to 30/09 every day from 10am-12pm and 3pm-7pm
01/10 to 30/11 from Monday to Friday 3pm-7pm
Closing the gate
10pm to 6.30am from 01/03 to 30/09
8pm to 6.30am from 01/10 to 03/11
At the reception desk, you will find all the information you need about the campsite’s services, information on the possibilities of refreshment, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the area and various addresses that may prove useful. A special box for receiving complaints is available to users. Complaints will only be considered if they are signed, dated, as accurate as possible and relate to relatively recent facts.
Royalties are paid to the manager. Their amount is displayed at the entrance of the field and on the price list given to you upon your arrival. They are due according to the number of nights spent in the field.
Campground users are invited to pay their fees the day before their departure.
6) NOISE AND SILENCE
Campground users are urged to avoid all noises and discussions that could disturb their neighbours.
The sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Door and trunk closures should be as discreet as possible.
Dogs and other animals must never be left at large. They must not be left at the campsite, and even locked up, in the absence of their masters who are civilly responsible for them. Animal owners will ensure that they pick up their droppings in the campsite and by the river and take them out of the campsite so that they can do their business.
Silence must be total between 10.30 pm and 6.30 am.
After being authorized by the manager, visitors may be admitted to the campground under the responsibility of the campers who receive them.
The camper who receives them may be required to pay a fee as long as the visitor has access to the campground facilities. This fee must be displayed at the entrance to the property and on the price list.
Visitor cars are not allowed on the campground.
8) TRAFFIC AND VEHICLE PARKING
Inside the campsite, vehicles must drive at a maximum speed of 10 km/h.
Traffic is prohibited between 10pm and 6.30am from 01/03 to 30/09 and between 8pm and 6.30am from 01/10 to 03/11.
Only vehicles belonging to campers staying in the campground may be driven in the campground. Parking must not obstruct traffic or prevent the settlement of newcomers.
9) PERFORMANCE AND APPEARANCE OF THE INSTALLATIONS
Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene, appearance of the campsite and its facilities, including sanitary facilities.
It is prohibited to dispose of waste water on the ground or in gutters. “Caravanners” must empty their waste water in the facilities provided for this purpose.
Household waste and other waste must be sorted and placed in the containers assigned to them.
Washing is strictly prohibited outside the bins provided for this purpose.
If necessary, the clothes will be hung in the common dryer. However, it is tolerated until 12 noon near the shelters, on condition that it is very discreet and does not disturb the neighbours. It should never be made from trees.
Plantings and floral decorations must be respected.
Campers are prohibited from planting nails in trees, cutting branches, planting plantations.
It is also not permitted to delimit the location of an installation by personal means, nor to dig into the ground. Any installation must be removable, residents must make the installation free of any equipment during the closing period of the campsite, in order to allow winter maintenance of the plot.
The pitch that will have been used during the stay must be returned in the same condition as the camper found it when he entered the premises.

- a) Fire
Open fires (wood, coal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. The stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used under dangerous conditions.
In case of fire, immediately notify the campsite manager. A fire extinguisher is available in the sanitary block if necessary.
A first aid kit is to be requested from the manager.
The manager is responsible for the objects entrusted to him/her and has a general obligation to monitor the campground. The camper remains responsible for his own installation and must report the presence of any suspicious person to the person in charge. Although guarding is provided, campground users are encouraged to take the usual precautions to safeguard their equipment.
No violent or embarrassing games may be organised near the installations.
Children should always be under the supervision of their parents.
12) DEAD GARAGE
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the site with the agreement of the manager and only at the indicated location.
These rules are posted at the entrance to the campground. It is given to the customer at his request.
The campsite is located in a floodplain and 10km from the Bugey Nuclear Power Plant.
15) ELECTION OF DOMICILE
Any customer of the campsite must be able to demonstrate that he/she has a main residence. Sending mail to the campsite is strictly prohibited and will be returned to the sender by the manager.
16) INFRINGEMENT OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE
In the event that a resident disrupts the stay of other users or does not comply with the provisions of these regulations, the manager may orally or in writing if he deems it necessary, give notice to the latter to cease the disturbance.
In the event of a serious or repeated infringement of the internal regulations and after formal notice by the manager to comply with them, he may terminate the contract.
In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call on the police.
